Dr. S. N. Panda, Born in Jharsuguda, Orissa on 19th August, 1969, got a place of prominence in the field of Computer Science and Applications.  Currently he is working as Professor and Principal, Regional Institute of Management & Technology (RIMT) Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, one of the premier technical institution of country.

He has served as Head of   Post-Graduate Department of Computer Science in S.A.Jain (PG) College, Ambala City which is one of the oldest and first college of Haryana, during that period he restore the  NCC Senior wing (Boys) in the college,  worked in various college activities including discipline, NAAC report team etc. and co-ordinate with AICTE, UGC for different kind of approvals and grants.  Received Minor Research Project Grant from UGC on the  Computer Network Security.

Completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science & Applications from  Department of Computer Science & Applications, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra under the able guidance of  Prof.(Dr.) Ashok Kumar. He published more than 30 research papers on Computer Network Security in different  International and National level journals/ conferences/ seminars.

He Chair the sessions the National and International level conferences and seminars,  rendered his services to other organizations including refresher courses on computer science organized by Department of Higher Education, Haryana as Guest faculty. He is member of various academic advisory bodies of different Universities and Institutions and  Member of Editor team of various national and international journals.

Dr.Panda is actively participating in social services, he is an active member of well known NGO Bharat Vikas Parishad and Patron of Neelanchal Trust, Chandigarh.
